I’m not a huge fan of lappy events (I much prefer point to points, then loops, multi-lap least) because I find them a bit mind numbing. However because it was such a friendly event with lots of positive vibes from the finish/refuel crew and the fellow racers, made it a lot of fun. We love the Booking Hall Cafe but found ourselves going to the Cafe Plaza (same group) but a bite to eat which was a little warmer!

We really enjoyed this. It was very well organised, the team was lovely and extremely welcoming, the other runners were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. I've only been running 6 months and did much better than expected because of a nice flat course for the 10k. One of our group walked it and didn't seem out of place. The festive atmosphere with lots of tinsel and Christmas adornments was fun. We intend to be back next year. Thanks Hare and Tortoise team!

What a wonderful group of organisers and fellow participants I had an amazing day along with my friend it was a wet day but that didn’t matter and what a medal

Well organised as always. Use of facilities in scout hut is great. Well signed route. Like the option of either way. Medal superb. Snack and drinks table also superb. Thankyou to all involved.

Well organised great choice at food station

Running on the Fitch Way was great fun, even in the rain. Very well organised and great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Very friendly atmosphere. The out and back nature of the course meant that runners could easily cheer each other on. Great medals. Didn’t use facilities but it’s by Rayne Cafe which is nice enough. Goody bags at the end were a nice touch!

I did the 10km and loved it . Very inclusive which is important as i am a very slow runner . Well organised . Lovely festive chocholate treats to take home . Considering the 6 hour time trail next year
