Don't expect to get a pb as start can be slow if you're a mid speed runner. 10k is actually 10k+

Brilliant course with a mixture or terrain. Great team organizing it and an amazing way to spend a Sunday morning!

The Hare and Tortoise team always put on a great event. Amazing and friendly atmosphere throughout.
Aid station always well stocked, plenty of Freddo Frogs! Also, flapjacks, banana and savoury snacks.
The route is well sign posted and easy to follow.
And of course the bling, always the best in the business!! Love it

Such a lovely atmosphere. All the people who I met; runners, staff and military personnel were really friendly and supportive of others. On this day, everything was done with the highest of respect of Remembrance Day, from the excellent Ellie playing ‘The Last Post’ on her bugle and the field gun starting the race to the silence of 11 o’clock 2 minute silence. The poignancy of seeing all runners stop in silence was heart warming.

The trail was a 10k loop, a number of laps for your distance (10km, Half Marathon, Marathon and Ultra Marathon). The course is a undulating selection of tarmac, concrete and fields. Only a few gradual inclines. On the course are greatly received aid stations at the start and halfway around for water top ups and little boost nibbles to keep you going. After all your struggles of the run you cross the line with the worlds most stunning medal and a snack bag to take home.

A portion of your entrance fee goes towards the local charity, this years was the Airbourne Gunner Trust.
I cannot recommend the Hare and Tortoise Running Ltd enough. This is my second run with these guys, and I come home smiling from both. Brilliant!

I loved these races for several years. Always brilliantly organised always a warm welcome from Bev, Pete and their crew. Today was even better than ever - partly because of the weather and running conditions. Thank you so much for a great race

Such a lovely thing to do on remembrance Sunday, this has to be one of my favourite runs and medal to date. Very well organised and the route is just beautiful. Great to support the charity too. Will be back next year!

This was my 7th H & T Remembrance run ( if you include the virtual during covid) and I really hope I can continue to make it each year! We’ve had rain, wind, sunshine and plenty of mud! This year was probably the most perfect of conditions. Beautiful medal as always

As a novice runner, these events can seem pretty intimidating especially with the level of some of the other runners in the field but everything about this event is so welcoming. From the final notes email prior to the briefing on the day everything about the event was explained in detail. The course was a nice mix of different terrain/scenery with other runners offering encouragement along the way and all topped off with a selection of snacks to refuel at the finish line and amazingly designed metal to commemorate the occasion. Highly recommend and can’t wait for the next event.

Really enjoy this event. Friendly and welcoming with a good level of challenge on the course - but also variation which prevents it from being boring if you repeat the loops.
Plenty of good snacks too!
