It was a really great event.
This was a really great event and would recommend to others. Organisers really friendly, and the set up was great. There were just a couple of areas on the course where it was a bit confusing where we should be going. This was in one of the caravan parks. Luckily there were runners behind me who knew the route, and could guide me in the right direction. We ran past some others who had gone in the wrong directions in the caravan park. Other than that it was really well signposted.

Stunning run and so friendly.
Fantastic event. Lovely course that was easy to follow. One tiny part where we may have gone a little wrong but was very easy to get back on the right track. It was uneven underfoot but that was to be expected and we were very well prepared by the race briefing. Overall, loved it and will definitely book again.
Many thanks to all who work so hard to put these events on for us to enjoy.

Beautiful circular route
Well organised event with 2 great aid stations perfect for keeping everyone going. Varied terrain which keeps you on your toes. Brutal finish on soft sand

Great time had!
Did get lost at one point as there was some flags missing near the caravan park and being a slower runner we didn’t have anyone at that point to follow so ended up doing an extra km

There was one point where the path came out in the caravan park and I and a few other runners thought we’d gone the wrong way. We found our way and all was well!

Tough but beautiful
Tough terrain but beautiful scenery seeing the whole of Mersea island. Fabulous aid stations so much support and encouragement on route. LOVE H&T events. Onto the next one !!!
