Excellent event
Fantastic event, I’ve been waiting 3yrs for this to happen, will definitely be back in the near future. Well organized, great location, challenging course, excellent choice of refreshments at the aid station, goody bag at the end of the race is a nice touch.

A tough run made all the more enjoyable by the beautiful views
My first hare and tortoise event and it did not disappoint.
Very well organised from start to finish. Really lovely atmosphere all through the event. I would definitely recommend this race if you are looking for a challenge. The beach run at the end will just about finish you off! The fuel stations are very well stocked with lots of treats and the goody bags at the end, well what can i say. Thank you so much for a fab event. Keep up the good work.

Another wonderful H&T experience
Thoroughly enjoyed it! Excellent organisation. Friendly marshals, helpful to have some circulating amongst the runners before the start to answer any questions & ensure we knew where to go. Well stocked checkpoints. Perhaps not one for complete trail run beginners due to very uneven terrain in some parts.
Thank you to friends and strangers for picking me up after a tumble and encouraging me on my way. Loved the medal and the race numbers.
Fantastic Event
This event was one of hardest but most enjoyable I’ve run. Well organised from start to finish with beautiful scenery but the terrain was tough! Looking forward to next year.

Excellent race but brutal running on the sand at the end
Really well organised, great atmosphere and awesome medal and goody bag
Bernard Bazley
Very Good Event
Really good race, well organised, great views, no problem with the directions on the course, good water stations. Brutal finished on the beach, which I could have done without, but guess that is part of the tradition.

Another great event!
As another great event, feed stations as always great. The little bag at the end is a wonderful treat! (Can we skip the bananas though, I don’t like them

Great fun!
Such a great run today on Mersea Island! I’ve run this route many times by myself, so it was great to do it with lots of people and get a medal at the end. A few runners and I did get lost coming through the caravan site, as we couldn’t find the blue flags, but we managed to find our way to the other flags on the other side. I hope to run this race again next year!
