My third time back at the Frolic with Pitsea RC. I would recommend this event to anyone. I won't lie the course is certainly not pan flat, but it's a lovely, scenic loop and the support from other runners as you go round is brilliant.
The guys at H&T do an excellent job staging this event so generously and I would like to thank everyone who gave up their time to help out.
Myself and others from PRC will be back again next year!

Great race directors, great course, great facilities, great aid stations, great atmosphere, and all for a great charity

As with other H&T events, it is well run, lots of marshalls and refreshments to keep you going. My first repeat loop event, great countryside, some challenges, recommend it.

Awesome to raise money for the most-excellent FLF too. Will 100% be back next year.

I've run this event all 4 times its been held and the hills don't get any easier, but the atmosphere gets better and better each time.
Bev, Al and Pete are fantastic host, the set up is well organised and super chilled with a festival vibe (just no music which could be a idea for future events)
To top it all off its held to support the brilliant charity Finish Line Fund. great cause!
I will be back next year.

I registered for the Finish Line Frolic half marathon very recently after hearing excellent reports about your events from a running friend!. The day was perfect... a challenging 3.4 mile loop that took us across fields of golden wheat/barley. Wonderful stretches through cool woodland and only minimal parts on minor road. Yes, there were hills but what goes up does go down. The laps began and ended in the event village where there was a plentiful supply of snacks and drinks for refuelling before heading off again. The course was well signed and friendly Marshalls in key places. Definitely one to do again in the future! Particularly to help raise funds for the Finish Line Fund charity . Thanks to everyone involved including the friendly race photographer:)

A worthy charity, the nicest of people and, of course, the best organisers, well done for another super event H&T!

Such a great event, no pressure on the runners, no expectations of PBs etc, just happy running.

Route is all round good, first trail event and I really enjoyed it.

Would recommend to any sort of runner especially the 6 hour event.

Good, well organised event in an accessible format. Great way to test yourself and take in some scenery in a friendly and safe environment
